Successful leader
To
tell the truth I don’t consider myself a success but leader. Some
people believe that a great leader are made, not born. Yes, it may be
true that some people are born with natural talents. However, without
practice experience and enthusiasm there can be no true development
in leadership. First of all you have to get people to follow you. People
will follow you if will see a purpose or if they will know where you
are going. Communication is a very important key to a good leadership.
I am very polite and quite. In relations I like equality. For me it’s
better to listen that to say. May be I have no such situations
where I could determine my skills of leadership. Being a leader is not
about what you make others do. It’s about who you are, what you know
and what you do. You should have their trust. I don’t know what is
the best to be a leader or to be following.
Do you know the secret of getting success?
First of all, a success is our happiness. If a person is unhappy, then this situation cannot be called "a success".
It is difficult to say about getting success for different people. A rich man can be called a success because he has a lot of money, but what if he dies alone with no family or friends and no one remembers or misses him? Was he a success? I think No. A man can be happy even if he is poor and he can be unhappy if he is rich.
Of course all of us need money to make a living. And every person feels a little better when he (or she) has a little more spare money. Money is a friend which always ready to betray.
I know people who are not rich, but they have interesting and happy lives.
As for me getting success means to be a good person, to be a good wife, to be a good mother, to be a good worker to earn money for my family. It is difficult to say about getting success for different people. That is why I can tell you about my successfulness. My aim number one is to be a good mother. In the future I will have children, it’s very important for me. Other aim is to finish university and got diploma with very interesting and useful profession – interpreter. I want to be an interpreter because of some reasons. It is an interesting profession, because an interpreter meets people from different countries. He has an opportunity to learn a lot of interesting information. Also this profession is very useful because it helps people to understand each other.
At present
success for me is to make my husband and my parents happy. Because I’m
happy when all OK with them.
What kind of person do you consider yourself single-minded or absent – minded
There are good forms of "single-mindedness" and bad forms. Here's the difference.
The bad single minded: When one becomes so preoccupied with a task that they lose all grips with their daily responsibilities and accountability to others, this is obviously a form of self delusion. We often label these personality types as "self-centered" or "self obsessed", carrying a negative connotation. Often people that are mentally ill or mentally challenged will be seen doing the same movements over and over. The good form of "single-minded" is the ability to block out distractions and erroneous thoughts in order to concentrate better. Your desire to become more single-minded will enable you to finish projects with more efficiency in less time.
“Absent-mindedness”
can refer to three very different things: a low level of attention ("blanking"
or “zoning out”); intense attention to a single object of focus
(hyperfocus) that makes them oblivious to events around them; or unwarranted
distraction of attention from the object of focus by irrelevant thoughts
or environmental events. Lapses of attention are clearly a part of everyone’s
life. Some are merely inconvenient, such as missing a familiar turn-off
on the highway, and some are extremely serious, such as failures of
attention that cause accidents, injury, or loss of life. So not to be
absent-minded there are a lot of training courses for memory.
Life in the Slow Lane means taking some of that speed out of life. It is time to relax, time to enjoy, time to be aware
"Possessions, outward success, publicity, luxury - to me these have always been contemptible.
I believe that a simple and unassuming manner of life is best for everyone, best for both the body and the mind" Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
We live — as we’re constantly told — in super-accelerated times. But no one seems to have decided what to do with all this extra speed in our lives, apart from e-mailing each other amusing YouTube videos. We’re so intent on consuming the new that we don’t give ourselves the time to properly absorb it, let alone reflect upon it. We’re so busy that we don’t even have time for idle chitchat.
So, from my point of you, it is necessary to slow down - to try life in the slow lane.
The slow lane does two things: 1) it makes us simply slow down — in our mindset, this means that we cease to be productive, and 2) the slow lane tends to make us sit in the silence — we cannot rush so we cannot do and the silence is ponderous and chilling to us because, for those few brief moments, we are put into a place where we are alone with ourselves…
Of course,
it’s virtually impossible — not to mention pointless — to live
and work entirely offline in 2010. But If you’re finding life on the
information superhighway is getting too much, just pull over to the
hard shoulder and stretch your legs for a bit. It doesn’t have to
be for a fortnight, but you can manage an hour.
The crime rate in Ukraine is low compared to more industrialized countries. An analysis was done using INTERPOL data for Ukraine. For purpose of comparison, data were drawn for the seven offenses used to compute the United States FBI's index of crime. Index offenses include murder, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny, and motor vehicle theft. The combined total of these offenses constitutes the Index used for trend calculation purposes. Ukraine was compared with Japan (country with a low crime rate) and USA (country with a high crime rate). The rate for all index offenses combined was 619.44 for Ukraine, compared with 1709.88 for Japan and 4123.97 for USA. Between 1995 and 2009, according to INTERPOL data, the rate of total index offenses decreased from 804.86 to 619.44, a decrease of 23 percent.
Nevertheless street crime remains a serious problem in Ukraine. The country continues to undergo significant economic, political, and social transformation, and income differences have grown accordingly. As a result, foreign visitors may be perceived as wealthy and as easy targets for criminals. Americans often stand out in Ukraine, and are therefore more likely to be targeted than in Western European countries, where incomes are higher and Americans may blend in better. The police are poorly paid, motivated, trained, and equipped, and also are considered by the general public to be one of the most corrupt organizations in Ukraine. Ukrainian police and emergency services remain generally below Western European and U.S. standards in terms of training, responsiveness, and effectiveness. Ukrainian law enforcement provides no adequate level of deterrence to street crime, and is not able to investigate crimes to any minimal level expected in Western countries. Ukrainian law enforcement and emergency officials generally do not speak English and interpreters are not readily available.
Most street crimes are non-violent and non-confrontational and range from various scams to simple pocket picking, purse snatching, and theft of personal items from parked cars. Many of these crimes occur in downtown Kyiv or on the public transport system.
Unfortunately,Ukraine's situation in regard to corruption had declined dramatically in the past five years, more significantly than in other countries surveyed in Asia and other parts of the world. Ukraine's level of corruption surpasses that of Russia.
This widespread
corruption contributes to weakness of the rule of law and undermines
the predictability of the judicial process. The corruption undermines
the certainty of business transactions making businesses vulnerable
to exploitation by organized criminals. It also severely inhibits the
foreign investment that Ukraine so greatly needs to repair its depleted
infrastructure. Moreover, Ukraine has failed to adopt the needed legal
infrastructure to combat organized crime and corruption. Only 8 percent
of the citizens surveyed believe that Ukraine is making good progress
toward achieving the rule of law. Recent survey research indicates that
the absence of institutions that respect the rule of taw is a key factor
associated with corruption.
