There is the only obscure question: from where to take estimates of the prices and costs of future periods. Already functioning company takes these values from own statistics of expenses and behavior of the prices taking into account future changes in economy. It is necessary to consider in particular seasonal fluctuation in prices, actions of competitors, emergence of the goods substitutes (especially in the hi-tech markets). Again created firms can't lean on a personal experience owing to that absence, therefore, for them calculation for analogy to firms already operating in this branch is possible only.

Marketing of any production will be carried out much more simply if the company is already known to the consumer. Wise businessmen try to keep the corresponding image of the enterprise, the trademark and to use possible means of acquisition of popularity. The general image of the company is created over time, thanks to various means, very distinct from advertizing: press, scientific contacts etc.

Group of potential consumers which is characterized by certain properties.

Marketing of any production will be carried out much more simply if the company defined the segments of the market interested in production made by it. Each segment will probably demand development of a certain network of the distribution, the corresponding prices and packing. Usually allocation of segments is carried out on the basis of level of the income, age, a kind of activity, the area, frequency of purchases.

Discounts - incentive motives for purchase.

The system of discounts as they represent additional expenses should be carefully developed, and can not increase sales, as expected. The time period of action of discounts should be short on extents of one year and correspond to the smallest sales level. Discounts can be used for stimulation of channels of distribution or the final buyer of production. In this case, discounts should give opportunity to the buyer to learn property of new production.

Accompanying production - the minor production received from this of raw materials by production of the main production or made from the remains of materials.

Some accompanying production can have insignificant value, but it should be taken into consideration and to count up. Studying of the market should include also identification of potential consumers of accompanying production.

Period of storage - time period during which production can remain in a good condition in retail shop.

Processing and packing of production should correspond to distribution requirements at time establishment during which production can be stored before its consumption by the end user. It has special importance for food and should be considered, whatever was the output volume.

Even appeal of production of long storage can change, if conditions of long storage aren't provided.

Work strategy - the various decisions accepted by the management for achievement of overall objectives of business. It is supposed that the top management of the company should formulate clearly and in writing state the decisions to define operative tasks to each division which should be reached by them in high-quality and quantitative expression. Especially the manager on production should receive exact instructions for the organization of production which would meet sales department requirements.

The auction - any production or services should be bought by the businessman on the basis of competition between various suppliers, giving that opportunity of a choice of the best price from offered by them. To make the offer follows carefully taking into account the description of the offered goods, conditions of their delivery and payment, conditions of providing the help and training. It is necessary to develop the list of criteria of final selection and to create the commission for the analysis of offers.

Expenses and time expenses on the organization of competition should be compensated by an economy way on the prices, observance of terms of delivery or payment of penalties in case of a delay. Time prior to the beginning of work of the enterprise has the cost therefore the conclusion of the contract with the supplier after tendering will allow to save means and will promote receiving effect from investments.

Uniqueness/difference of production - difference of your production from production of your competitors.

No success can be reached, if the businessman unable to give distinctive features of the production in comparison with production of competitors. Technical innovations, features of packing or appeal of the guarantees offered the consumer could be such differences.

Packing - external registration of production, including the size and capacity.

The most important stage of marketing is the packing choice as it makes the first impression of the consumer about production: color, the size, the wrapper type, printed technical and commercial information - all this should be carefully developed and checked by means of buyers.

Terms of payment - conditions which are stipulated with suppliers and buyers taking into account time between the order (or delivery) and payment of production, used instruments of payment and possibilities of granting discounts. Terms of payment have huge value as they cause the size of working capital.

Franchize - granting by one producer (franchiser) of an exclusive right to other producer (franchisee) by means of licensing for production or sale of production of the person granting this exclusive right in the certain district.

Storage - how to provide to materials and production safety and absence of damages.

The most important that it is necessary to consider to the manager on production, definition of storage conditions of various production materials is: raw materials, semi-finished products, finished goods. The volume and storage conditions cause profitability of process of production: availability of raw materials at its storage, temporary storage of semi-finished products, possibilities of storage of finished goods in a good condition at low demand for it and possibility of immediate delivery of fresh production at restoration of a great demand.
