Төрт түліктің ішінде түйе малын байлық ретінде де, көлік ретінде де, азық ретінде де қатты қастерлеген. Осы малдың сақтаушы иесін «Ойсылқара» деп атаған. Ойсылқара атауы ұғымдық жақтан түйе деген мағынаны білдіреді. Атаудың қойылуы сипаттамалы түске ие. Ол басқа түлік атауларына мүлде ұқсамайтын өзіндік ерекшелікпен қалыптасқан. Формалық тұлғалануы жағынан ой+сыл+қара деген толық мағыналы үш сөздің кірігуінен жасалған. Махмұд Қашқаридың «Түркі тілдер сөздігіне» жүгінер болсақ, «ой ат»- қара торы ат. Осындағы «ой» деген сөз көне түркі тілінде қара деген мағынаны білдіретіндігін аңғаруға болады. «Сыл»- зіл, сүлей, «сіл» деген сөз ертеде жеке дара қолданысқа ие болған, тамағы аз деген мағынаны білдіретін сөз. «Қара»- бұл сөзді Шоқан Уәлиханов зерттей келіп, «қара» сөзі ертеде «қасиетті» деген мағына береді,- дейді.
