«Nika » - the national award of the Russian Academy of cinema arts. It’s the main film award in Russia, the CIS and Baltic countries. In each nomination figurines of the winged goddess Nika (the author — sculptor Sergey Mikulskiyi) are handed over to winners. The first ceremony of delivery of the film award of "Nika" has taken place in December, 1988 in the Central house of cinematographers.
