There are fewer public holidays in Great Britain than in other European countries. They are: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, May Day, Spring Bank Holiday and Summer Bank Holiday. All of them (except New Year's Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day) are movable. Good Friday and Easter Monday depend on Easter Sunday, which falls on the псы Sunday after a fool moon on or after March 21. May Day falls on the first Monday in May.
