• Nelson Mandela was born in 1918 on July 18, is known as an active fighter against apartheid. Nelson was the first black president of South Africa (RSA) for five years from 1994 to 1999. So far, he said, as one of the most active leaders in the fight for human rights. Nelson had to go to prison for 28 years for anti-apartheid activities. In 1993 he was awarded the Nobel Prize.

• During his studies, Mundell participated in strikes. A little later he was promoted to correspondent in Johannesburg and began to study at the University of the Witwatersrand.

• Nelson in 1944, participated in the organization of the ANC Youth League.

• In 1952, there was a strong inhibition of blacks, but, despite this, Mundell and his friend Oliver Tambo to open a private school. That year, it was the first school for black children, the official owner of which is black.

• In 1962, Nelson went to Algeria for the acquisition of new members of the wing. But his departure is not the most successful. On his return he was arrested for agitating against the government and the people for the "illegal" to leave the country.
